Here are the dates & times for this year’s Parkdale Spring Concerts:

Wednesday, May 12
Grade 4 at 6:30 p.m.

Thursday, May 13
Grade 1 at 1:00 p.m.
Grade 2 at 2:00 p.m.
Grade 3 at 3:00 p.m.
Grade 5 at 6:30 p.m.

Mark your calendar for Friday, March 5 for Parkdale’s 2010 ”Lights, Camera, Action” Carnival.  The games will be free for all Parkdale Panthers. (Others will be asked to purchase a $3 bracelet to participate in the games.) Snacks, beverages, and supper items will available for a minimal cost. Don’t miss this fun event!

The following Carnival Donations are needed: 2-liter bottles of pop for ring toss, king size candy bars for candy bar walk, and munchies for munchie march. 

Volunteers are needed for the Carnival.  Students brought home a purple 1/2 sheet  asking for your donations and volunteer availability. Please return the 1/2 sheet by Feb. 19.

With all our help, we can make this ’Lights, Camera, Action” Carnival a great memory for Parkdale Panthers!

Spring Picture Day will be on Tuesday, March 23, 2010. Information sheets will be sent home in March. SMILE!

If you have a child entering Kindergarten for the 2010-2011 school year, MPS has scheduled two District-wide orientation programs for parents. The two dates are Tuesday, February 9, in the Jefferson Middle School Cafeteria, and Tuesday, February 16, in the Central Middle School Cafeteria. Each night parents may choose from a 4:30 or 6:30 p.m. session. This informative evening wil include information on schools of choice, curriculum, and registration. If you have a child who will be 5 before December 1, 2010, and would like more information about these important evenings, please call the Parkdale Office at 923-7515 and we will be happy to get information to you.
